LANDSCAPE – Forests, Dunes & Beach
Discover the untouched beauty of Haida Gwaii right from our property. With sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean framed by majestic spruce rainforests and rolling dunes leading down to a pristine beach—it’s pure peace at every turn.
Haida Gwaii Glamping Co. is also the perfect place to practice forest bathing, a Japanese-inspired method of relaxation known as shinrin-yoku. Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and scents of the surrounding rainforest, letting its calming energy wash over you for a truly rejuvenating experience.
With zero light pollution here on Haida Gwaii Glamping Co.'s glorious acreage, stargazing is truly magical—whether from our cedar spa tub or wrapped in one of our cozy blankets by a crackling beach fire.
We provide everything you need to light a fire on the beach; just bring your sense of adventure! For an extra-special experience by the shore, ask us about our beach picnic setup.
SOCIAL DOME – The Heart of HGG
Our custom-built 807 sq. ft. geodesic dome is the heart of our property—a welcoming space to gather, relax, and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. It features:
- Fully Equipped Kitchen: A chef’s dream with a full-sized double-door fridge freezer, oven, dishwasher, two sinks, ice machine, pots, pans, utensils, dishware, and thoughtful extras like aluminum foil, zip-lock bags, paper towels, and basic condiments.
- Tea & Coffee All Day: Help yourself to tea and coffee whenever you like—it’s always available in the dome (as well as your tent).
- Complimentary Breakfast: Served daily from 8-11 AM, featuring homemade muffins, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast bar with spreads, juice, tea, coffee, and a mini smoothie station with protein powders. Dairy and non-dairy options are available.
- A Huge Live-Edge Dining Table: Seats up to 15 people—perfect for shared meals or celebrations.
- Lounge Area with Sunrise Views: A cozy spot with a chaise lounge and other comfy chairs adorned with cushions and blankets galore. Watch the sunrise over the ocean in comfort.
- Homey Touches: A record player with classic vinyl hits, a telescope for stargazing or spotting wildlife, and even a guitar for impromptu jam sessions.
- Herb Garden: A thriving herb garden is available for guests to add fresh flavors to their meals.
- Loo with a View: No need to run back and forth to your tent—our ‘loo with a view’ is conveniently located near the dome, complete with a one-way window so you can enjoy the beauty of nature while taking care of business!

CEDAR HOT TUB & SAUNA – Spa-Style Relaxation
Don’t forget to build a day for onsite relaxation into your travel itinerary and soothe your cares away with our spa-style experience.
- Hot Tub: Always at 104°F with homemade drink holders and a convenient snack ledge for ultimate comfort as you soak in ocean views.
- Ice Bath: Located next to the hot tub for those seeking an invigorating plunge experience. (Ice bags available onsite, but must be bought for small additional cost)
- Nootka Cedar Barrel Sauna 10ft: Heats up in around 30 minutes (electric), can be used wet or dry and comes with organic essential oils that can be sprayed directly on the coals for an aromatic experience.
Dash to the sea for a refreshing dip between sessions for an authentic Nordic Circuit sauna experience, or simply swing in a hammock with a soft breeze to cool off. We provide hot tub and sauna towels, robes, and beach towels so you can fully relax. All facilities available to use 24 hours a day.
FOOD & BEVERAGE OPTIONS
Got a special event? Ask us about our beach picnic setup—complete with a driftwood table centerpiece, comfy cushions, and everything you need for an unforgettable dining experience by the shore (please contact us for price info).
- Social Dome Kitchen: Fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals—from cookware to condiments and other conveniences.
- BBQ Deck: Features 4 BBQs with side burners, an Ooni pizza oven, and oversized seafood pots for crab boils. We also offer BBQ packs filled with locally sourced, wild seafood and yummy local sausages —perfect for grilling up a delicious feast! Plus, we sell pizza bases and sauce so you can create your own pizza masterpiece on our newly added pizza oven while enjoying the fresh ocean air. The balcony deck also comes fully equipped with all the things you could possibly need while grilling - tongs, trays, skewers, crab crackers, paper towel, oil spray, and more.
- Sundowners on Your Tent Balcony: Each tent has its own mini fridge freezer, tea and coffee making facilities, and cedar balcony where you can enjoy your culinary creations, evening drinks, or morning coffees in the sanctuary of your own space.
ON-SITE ACTIVITIES & EXTRAS
There’s no shortage of fun activities during your stay:
- Chill in a hammock with a good book or get competitive with our axe throwing setup.
- Explore the ocean with 2 stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), 4 kayaks, and plenty of life jackets.
- Enjoy our selection of beach games, build sand castles by the shore, or beachcomb for hours.
- Rainy day? Head to the Dome for board games, play some tunes, or try your hand at giant Jenga and noughts and crosses.
- We also offer a convenient on-site laundry service, so you can freshen up your wardrobe during your stay and pack light for your adventure.
For offsite adventures, we provide umbrellas and walking sticks to help you explore come rain or shine.
GIFT SHOP – Take Home a Piece of HGG
Our gift shop is housed in a beautifully renovated Airstream from the 1970s, complete with a hand-stenciled map of the Haida Gwaii archipelago on the floor—a true homage to the region. We proudly dedicate significant space to showcasing the work of upcoming local artists and creators, offering a unique selection of handmade goods alongside international products.
You’ll also find a gorgeous range of bespoke hoodies, sweaters, baseball caps, and more, perfect for taking home a piece of Haida Gwaii Glamping Co.
DAILY CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST - Included with stay
Every morning, we provide a simple complimentary continental breakfast and a mini smoothie station - this is served in the Social Dome
Includes a selection of homemade muffins, cereal bar, toast bar, yogurt, a selection of fresh and frozen fruit. Dairy and non dairy milk choices available. A selection of condiments. Juice, coffee and tea. And mini smoothie station with a selection of protein powders.
FURRY FRIENDS WELCOME
We believe pets are part of the family! Well-behaved dogs will be spoiled with their own doggy bed, bowls, poop bags, and even a special treat upon arrival. While on-site (except at the beach), we ask that pets remain leashed for their safety and please ensure paws are kept clean with the rags provided.
